Am I missing something with the camera. I see people posting really smart pictures of there game but I can only view my ship from a few angles and the zoom function sucks. How do I get better control of it

Yeah that took me a lot of time as well. What you probably want to look into is the "free camera". Check the key bindings, there are quite a lot.

On the x-flight free camera is J3 same as targeting(Default).
