I came up with a neat idea and it works like a charm.
Using team viewer on my pc and phone I'm able to connect to my pc via my phone and control it via the team viewer interface. Turning my phone on its side I'm able to load steam and start elite dangerous. Using my wireless controller which reaches from the room where my pc is I can play elite on my phone. I need to prop the phone on a pillow on my lap. Since team viewer is merely feeding my pc screen to my phone I'm reliant on fast Internet to keep it fluid. I'm able to connect my phone to my pc via mobile network so I can play it away from home but I'm stuck without being able to use the controller.
If only I could get my Bluetooth wireless controller that my phone clicks into to control my pc then I'd be able to play elite while I'm out and about at work etc.
I've used this method of team viewer to feed my pc screen to my phone as a security camera having my Web cam pointed out the window while I was on holiday.
