RE: Gaming Laptop

RE: Gaming Laptop

Hi.

I just got a new gaming laptop. It has the i5 7300HQ 7th Gen 256 SSD Geforce 1050ti 4gb and 8gb ram. I am really wanting to upgrade to atleast 16gb of ram. I am so glad my system can run Planet Coaster. It has lag which I new it would, but would adding 12 or 16gb of Ram make it run smoother? All the other components are great. I am so glad I got it. Thank you for your help.

Upgrading your RAM will only give a smoother experience in incredibly objects heavy parks, which you will not be able to run with your CPU and GPU anyway so in your case it will not make the game run better.

External cooling is going to give you a more immediate performance improvement than upgrading RAM. If you've got a Dell, HP, or Lenovo it probably has inadequate cooling because they build those more for form and less for function. Get yourself a good laptop cooler and it should help your CPU perform better.
