Re: Invalid Destination - cannot get any animals in habitats

Hi All,

Playing sandbox mode and cannot get any animals visible on screen and get "Invalid Destination" all the time. I've tried following below but no luck:

*Added door and checked no gaps in fencing.
*Added extra vets.
*Checked electric and water coverage.
*Animals go to quarantine then try adding to zoo once isolation finishes.


Love the game but haven't been able to do nothing more than make paths and buildings so far!

Watched numerous YouTube videos but cannot see anything this specific.

Any help be appreciated, thank you very much!

Is their a path connected to the Habitat?
Have had similar before and had to rebuild the Barrier. Not sure if a bug or not.
Electric and Water Clean should not stop Animals going in.

no but obviously for guests a good idea. Another is to make sure The Staff Buildings are also connected well. As a Test just do a empty habitat with door and paths. just to see if that would let you place animals. That way you will know something wrong with original habitat.

Can you share a Screenshot where we can see the Enclosure from above? Maybe this could help to figure out what's wrong with it

I had this problem when i just started playing, and my problem was that I had no idea how the habitat gates worked :p And when i finally figured out that I needed a habitat gate, I placed it the wrong way... But if you have a habitat gate and the habitat don't have any holes in it, it should work.

This is how you can see that a habitat is ready for use;
1. Make sure to have a habitat gate (and make sure it faces out of the habitat). If the barriers are all conected, when you click a piece of the habitat, you will automaticly select the whole habitat, like in the pic below.
2. When the habitat is ready to be used, it says "ready" with green background. If it's not ready, it says it here and the background is red.
