When I pick a Misson that involves delivering goods to a station I collect the goods ready to launch and get on my way. Before I go I will fill my cargo hold with the same item as its obviously needed at the station so why not take a load of extra ones and make some profit. When I arrive at the destination I find the goods can't be sold there. Is there a way to show the destination market before I head off as I'm not able to search for it to check.

Some rich CEO wanted to buy some goods with his corporate logo on them for the stockholders meeting. Hence the good mission reward. But the rest of the station population may be “meh” about that good. So open the “buy” part of the market, hit the “compare” button, select the station you’re headed to, and then you’ll see the estimated profit (loss) for each item. Pick a product, or two, with a good profit margin and load up on them. It’s a variation of something that was already in the game, but easier and faster process in the latest update.

@PaxtonNewt You can filter the galaxy map by Commodity, then select the commodity in question. You can also select to compare to the market in question from the Market Board and look at it there.
The galaxy map does require you to have the market data for the system in question though, which means either you have to have visited it recently or you need to buy the data (which you can do from the galaxy map). I'm not sure if the market board compare requires you to have the market data...haven't traded since the patch that added that. I assume it does though, but again, you can buy the data from the galaxy map.

In this image, I selected the Delkar system and set it to "Callie Landing" for the station. Filtered by commodity-metal-Beryllium and then checked the "import price" box. It shows me that Caille Landing is buying Berrylium at a price of 9,190 credits per ton. It also highlights ALL systems (for which I have data) that are buying Beryllium by making the system a blue diamond to select.
Let me know if you have issues figuring out how to do the market compare from the Market Board and I'll make a screenshot of that too next time I am back at a station.
