Reaching Beagle Point

Greetings I am approximately 7,477 LY from my objective, but now I can't get there , I am at super cruise at this moment maybe I can't get close to a scoopable star to sit at , I am at maxii light speed for my ASp X

Supercruise does not affect the distance between star systems.
You have to backtrack in case you can't go forward any more due to distance.
If you can't jump any more because you're out of fuel, turn off all systems except life support,
note the system you're in, log off and call the fuel rats.

Call the Fuel rats for assistance, we will help

I am 128 ly from Beagle Point can jump there as the shortest jump is 56 ly so I am using supercruise to get there I have 34.5 days left cruise speed at 1,600 c

It can't be done in supercruise as others have already noted, you must jump in hyperspace. People have traveled to Beagle Point in Sidewinders so I am sure if you have 56ly jump range you can get there;

So 56ly is plenty or range to get there, you won't even need to use Jumponium, here's a route for a 46ly jump range ship, just find the nearest star on that route and go from there;

Ship: Engineered Anaconda - Dark Phoenix (DF-0A3) - Jump range 46.32Ly (50.45Ly). I shall edit this post with the full ship description and load-out once I return to the bubble.

Which brings me to a question. I know you can only get to the next star with a FSD jump (it's a loading screen). But can such a jump be combined with a supercuise. F.e. if my range is 59 and the intended star is at 60. Can I SC 1 LY and then jump the rest?

If you bought the game you could try that. Then you would know.

No, it doesn't work. Others (and I) tried that long ago. If I recall correctly you need a 35 LY jumping vessel to reach beagle point. If you are stuck, track back and try again. Kamzel did it years ago.

I did it in a 19ly ship using synthed jumps, took me months to cover the last 2,000ly or so without outside assistance (the route plotter doesn't help at that low a jump range).

IIRC it was 22 synthed jumps (using the galmap's visited stars filter) to get back out to a region where I could reliably plot a route using the 1000ly route plotter available at the time (in 2017).

Supercruise distance doesn't count as you say, but burning off fuel (which can be done at minimum speed, distance covered doesn't matter to the ship's fuel consumption) can increase the ship's jump range. Gotta leave enough fuel to actually do the jump to a scoopable star of course :)

you cant shorten the distance in SC, sounds like you need synthesis / a neutron or a FC, although 128 ly from beagle point is full of stars, are you sure you don't have map filters applied? its pretty well populated out there for avigation purposes.

Greetings all ty for the suggestions but the fact is I got lost ran in circles for a long time, I knew u wouldn't run out of fuel I got so dam frustrated I deleted my save, and started over next time I make the beagle point run I will have a ship that can jump minimum 35ly , if you give start over try again and again!!!!👌👌😁

I can understand the frustration ;)

Too late now but there is a self-destruct option on the right HUD panel centre tab, it will respawn you at the last place you docked. You can also choose to return to your start position with a free sidewinder, you'll lose the ship you were in (and any modules it was fitted with engineered or not) but it's less of a loss than restarting from scratch :)

There's no shame in just googling a route to Beagle Point if you've tried your best to figure it out alone either, but with a 36ly jump range the route plotter in the game should find you a route without needing external help and with a higher jump range even crossing the abyss becomes a simple matter & you can see how much further past BP you can get :)

if you have regrets try contacting support to reinstate your account. If you explain you were having an emotional event they might take pity.

Wait a sec, what do you mean by "next time I make the beagle point run I will have a ship that can jump minimum 35ly"?
You saying your Asp Exp couldn't even jump 35Ly? :oops:
I know as others have mentioned people had flown a Siderwinder (with shorter jump range) to Beagle Points before. Personally I wouldn't even consider attempting the trip in a ship with less than 50Ly jump range. But you can easily engineer an Asp Exp to over 60Ly jump range, and I think you should do that first.

P.S. I don't think I will ever attempt a Beagle Point trip. The furthest I have travelled so far is to Sag A centre of galaxy and that's far enough for me. Read other commanders commenting after month of flying to Beagle Point, saw some space butterflies and turned around heading back again, what an anti-climax :LOL:

Maybe if Frontier actually reward us with a free Anaconda or a Hutton mug for making to Beagle Point, then I might reconsider :unsure:

There are FCs flying to BP all the time, just catch a ride. It's what I did. Although, I was with the DSSA on their first expedition when I got there, so I was doing something in return for it (out of my own goodwill).
