readability of text in the inbox/chat window

so, ever since I had to switch to pc to play the live version if this game. i've noticed that the text/letters are harder to read in the chat/inbox etc window. no matter what quality I choose for the game, the that does not seem to change. any idea how to make the text better readable? espacialy if you have to decypher text for certain quests and such....

have you tried diffrent resolutions in the graphics settings have you tried switching between windowed and boarderless there too?
try matching the highest resolution your pc can reach when displaying just windows

Do you still have FSR switched on in the settings? (It's on by default, makes everything including text a bit messy looking)

as @pFVD mentioned, make sure you set Upscaling to normal and supersampling to 1.0
ED defaults to AMD FSR Upscaling which is fine enough for 1440p and above but for 1080p it makes the text blurry

i know youre right north pin i had the same prob a while back and a friend put me on to that,it worked for me.

thanks, i did change FSR to normal yesterday after asking about it as well in-game. text is a lot less fuzzy, but it's still not quite there. i'll see if I can upload a few screenshots of my current settings together with GPU and such, to see what would be optimal.

as i fail to see any issue
so are there you tube vids or pics you have seen where it appears much sharper? ( pc only as console diff os drivers adapters etc)
if so grab and show us an sbs pic
as imo it always had a bit of a "fuzzy logic" aesthetic which i have never had a problem with reading on display range of 1920x1080 upwards
only on an older lower res hmd was it ever really a problem for me........
apart from switching to boarderless and back to fullscreen which refreshed things on my much older laptop ( currently desktop user)
and the forcing of cuda gpu in the nvidia control panel global settings due to a duel gpu config
