Reading the Forum can cause Anxiety

Playing full time, coming up to speed, taking risks but always having a rebuy ED can be an exciting game. There is so much to learn and keep up with. Playing part time or occasional as in a human who actually has a real life to deal with a family and friends one can get behind the learning curve with the latest upgrades as in Beyond 3.0.

Reading the Forum or watching Ed's live streams doesn't always help. The more they explain the C&P the more I get confused about it. Then all the negative posts on the Forum just adds to the anxiety. As a Trader should I take on a 4000 cargo mission with my Cutter without being in a wing? What is this cargo depot all about? Do I have to purchase the cargo, deliver it to another cargo depot and get paid? Guess I'll have to fly one or wait for ObsidianAnt to put out an excellent YouTube video on it next week.

One of many questions. I need 100K in bounties for my next engineer. Easy to do especially with my new Chiertain but will the new C&P mark me for destruction before I can deliver them? Waiting for the latest greatest bounty flow chart to see what I'm up against.

Regards

Im Soloing a WIng cargo mission right now. You pickup cargo from the mission board from where you accepted the mission. It sits right on the top with a progress bar. Kind of like a mini CG. You just run it till it is complete.

Why would the new C&P system mark you as wanted for collecting bounties? As long as you are waiting for the scan to be completed and the other ship is marked wanted you will never get a bounty yourself. Its when you get a itchy trigger finger before the scan completes that will get you into trouble.

What is a crime and what is not hasn't changed much. What has changed is how you deal with having a bounty on your head. Previously you'd have to wait it out, now you can jump to a low sec/anarchy system and go to a broker who will allow you to pay off your bounty. Alternatively you may get a fine for grazing another ship's shields, which you can pay off directly in the same system you got the fine in.

This is why I absolutely NEVER, EVER read ANYTHING posted to this forum. Never...

If this forum gives you anxiety I would guess most of the forums I hang out at would cause a major heat attack. This forum is a English Tea Party compared to most forums I hang out in.

Nah you won't get a bounty if you only shoot at wanted criminals. Hang about a res site for a bit and scan the ships that aren't mining. You'll run across one soon enough. Be careful to check if he's in a wing though, might get overwhelmed. Stick around the system security forces, everything I think is pretty much the same as before if you're hunting for bounties.

Thanks for all the comments. I have to go to a conflict zone to get the correct bounties. I long ago learned how not to shoot a good guy in this Frontier version of Space Invaders at level 21.

It's an addiction too.

On topic - I've made a couple of kills. And I thought I would be paid. But I have a bounty. Or maybe I have bounties to hand in.
No it's a bounty on me.

I don't really get the C&P stuff.

I hope when the next war comes that I can just do my thing.

Like I have a routine. So if that goes against something on page seven of the new C&P rules, I'm going to get detention.

So true. There really are some dark forums out there comparatively. I get a lot of chuckles from mates for even bothering with this place as they know it by reputation only, but it's not that bad.

I actually find it fascinating. It's a very well rounded exercise in the cognitive dissonance of humans. Members are very rarely purposefully rude when displaying it though.

Hoops:

Always a pleasure to see you.
Get bounties at any NAV point and let the cops help you take them down.
I's the safest place but you'll have to be patient for the good spawns.
Don't shoot the low ranked NPCS, that will slow the spawning of higher ranked ones.
Don't tackle wings of NPCs until you get lil gud.

(I won't tell anyone you'e one of those spider people)

It's my Cambridge PhD dessertation in social behavioural microcosms online. SHHHH

You're boned OP, you may as well give up or leave The Bubble. I heard that even the Thargoids have been slowed down, on account of their swarms not wishing to accidentally gain bounties in systems they don't have enough fuel to exit out of. It's cats and dogs folks, cats and flipping dogs!
