Realistic prediciton of 2018 updates

This is my realistic prediction of how the 2018 updates are being implement, taking into account all the previous updates until now.


Q1 update:

- Engineering - Every time you craft you always get an upgrade, but the upgrade can be so small that is almost the same as now.

- Authority ships will now appear 2 seconds earlier.

- Better trade data information in galaxy map, but still worse than using eddb.io instead.

- wing missions, the same unrewarding missions there are now, but one person can accept one mission for all wing members.

- Planetary Tech, I expect amazing result here, but to be cut off in beta since consoles can't keep up.

- Galnet Audio, starts talking at random times, for example in the middle of combat and there is no button to turn it off.



Q4 update:

- Squadrons, basically friend list new tab that is your squadron, they will forget a global chat.

- Fleet carriers, Megaships that squadrons have to request to FD by sending an email to support and buying them in the frontier shop. Also moving the ship can only be made in downtime and squadron leader need to send an mail to support.

- Mining, now there are some special asteroid you can blow up to tiny rewards, that isn't worth doing.

- Exploration improvement, 10 Anomalies added in all galaxy, with very tiny rewards that almost no one can find, same as the geysers. Also codex that basically just keeps record of the data you turned in, without any interaction at all.
 
You forgot the new ships:

- pretty much the same as the old ships, but ridiculously overpowered until they get nerfed in the first update after which they will be underpowered so everybody goes back to Condas.

That is not realistic. Sorry.

another downer, wait until the update comes out before you start complaining, my predictions, xbox one X version will definitely have the planet improvements, ships will be great but expensive, mining will be improved, wing missions improved, galnet audio will be optional and my final prediction, people will still fill up the forums with pessimistic rants
 
Realistically? Everything you expect or hope for will not be there or in the scale you wanted it to be. It will always be disappointment.
 
Every ED update since release was made in the most lazy way and worst design possible, why should I expect anything different?

Unfortunately being realistic is the same as being pessimistic in ED development.

Maybe time to try a different game? Or take up Morris dancing, I've heard that's fun.
