Alot of us don't view Elite as "just another throwaway video game". If you really want to know what alot of us were expecting, go back and read David Braben's vision for the game (around the time of the Kickstarter until release I think - sorry don't have links handy). I don't know why it's so unbelievable or unreasonable to expect what what they themself said they planned on delivering.

I guess I get a bit of dissapointment if someone feels that way, but the pathos some people exibit is just a little nutty, just like when I get irritated over their irritation. I suppose it's a wash, we're all nuts!
