Realistic queue lines

Does anyone have any advice for making realistic queue lines? I’ve looked on YouTube but most of the tutorials just cover priority queues or scenery rating. Whenever I create a queue it just never looks right- a bit ameuterish.

Use ctrl+shift to set some single path dots in hight and postion i want and then connect them. Sometime i do also a layout with billboardpictures or build it with scenery. For normalpath i take the cash terminal to set stairs as i want.

I mostly check out real queue lines. You'll find out that most queue lines aren't that good looking (not every park is a Disney-park).

You can press the "select grid" button and check the "sharp corners" box to create zig zag lines (this doesn't work for the first and last tile of a queue)...
Use a 4m wide queue if you need it to fit to buildings otherwise use 2m wide queue to create really compact zig zag areas.

I've been using the smallest width queues lately, I think they look really nice especially with fast pass,

I tend to stick them on a grid most of the time with square corners if it's not a round flat ride. I'll throw some awnings over them sometimes, some shrubs/flowers, lamp posts...etc

Thank you everyone. Cerealfruitcakes, those queues are fantastic and definitely the sort of thing I want to make.
I get so frustrated with this game because I’m not creative. When I try to do a building it never looks like a real building- it just looks like a child has built it out of building blocks!

Can I make a suggestion Nat?

Do what I do. Look at some of the really good builders (look in the workshop) and find a building you like. Now try and see (or download a blueprint from the workshop) and pull it to bits to see how its been created.

Also look at some videos from some good builders. A great tip that Geekism made in one of his videos is to ensure that you have something filling large areas (of walls or roof space). Look at real buildings - you don't tend to see large areas of (say) brickwork, without anything breaking up the space. This is particularly true in a real theme park.

When I was lucky enough to visit some theme parks in Florida, it amazed me that no matter where you looked (or could see), it was themed. There were no areas where they couldn't be bothered, even around the back of service areas, there was theming.
