Realistic water rides

I know water rides are coming, but i still have a suggestion to make that i didn't think was requested before. Ofcourse there are a few obvious ones like a watercoaster that just moves along a track like regular coasters. Some others just "float" downstreams like river rapids or certain other boat rides. (water is pumped to a higher area then streams downwards taking the boats with it)

The kind i want to request is more like the "dark ride" boats. The ones you see in Fata Morgana (De Efteling), Gondoletta (De Efteling) and im sure lot's of other rides as well. Those rides don't move along a certain track but are being pulled by steel cables. The direction is determined by the position of the next "rotor". I cant find any real pictures of it, so here is a self made one to illustrate my request :

The black dots are "rotors" and the red line is the route the boat will follow. So the direction of the boat is always towards the next "rotor".
The Brown one is a special rotor. It acts like another black dot but it also has a turning platform above water that can act as a station to board/unboard guests.

I would love to be able to have a ride like this where instead of laying rails, we could place "rotors". (Preferrably with a few different boat types ofcourse).

Ooh, that's a nice idea. I had forgotten those sorts of rides exist but I agree they should be in the game. I suppose it's kind of like the water version of an Omnimover system. [blah]

It's a Small World is actually free-floating boats that are propelled much like a log flume, but there's this little fairytale boat ride in Disneyland Paris that uses a steel cable system: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zuLnpi8BUQA

My bad, i tought It's a small world used this system as well, but now that you mentioned it, you are totally right [up] Thanks tough for pointing out another ride that uses this system.

And you are right, this is kind of like a water-omnimover [happy] Especially if it comes with a few different boat types it can be used for several ride types.
