Hello everyone and especially the Devs as that is who this is written for.
I have found a reality discontinuity.
Every shipyard and repair/outfitting firm is in business for one reason: To make money. Don't be deceived. They are not there for your convenience but to make money; they have simply chosen to sell ships or repair/outfit ships as a way to make money, just as I have chosen trading to make money. We all do what we are best at.
So I go to trade in a ship to buy another larger class ship and I am given full purchase price for the ship? I should receive no more than 75% of it's purchase price and 50% wouldn't offend me. The same goes for modules. I shouldn't get back the full purchase price of what I'm upgrading from.
Now don't get me wrong here. I like it this way, but it is not very realistic. I don't mind paying. Hey, the people who own and work in these business have to eat too
As I said before, this is mainly for the devs but constructive criticism is always welcome.
