Buildings & Attractions Reality Check more guest facilities needed (Revised to fit correct format I'm sorry if any of you though I was spamming)

Hmm... some good ideas here... some are just weird though...

Book Store -------- interesting... although a store dedicated to science in general might be better; sell books, models, science gear, and such...
Jewelry Store ----- pretty sure they had one of these in the movie... and in major real-world theme parks like Disney World.
Laser Tag ---------- we could use some more "normal" attractions... but a laser tag building? Well... there is a bowling alley I suppose...
Ice skating rink --- on a tropical island?
Auto shop ---------- I can't imagine why they'd need to dedicate a whole shop to souvenirs for your car...
50's Diner ---------- more restaurants would be great and a themed restaurant could be fun...
Fragrance shop -- I can't see them putting one of these in a zoo... the smells might bother the animals...
Tattoo parlor ------ Why would they need one of these? It's a very niche product...

Personally I'd love to see:
Simple rides, like a Carousel or maybe a Ferris Wheel...
I-Max movie theater (like the one in the movie).
Paleo Garden (guests walk through and view prehistoric plants).
Candy Shop (buy candy, ice cream, cookies, fudge, and so on...)
Art Store (paintings, sculptures, carvings; all dinosaur-based).
Swimming pool (to go with our hotels).

They also need small kiosks and stands:
Face-Painting (for the kids)
Popcorn Stand
Balloon Stand
Information Desk (gets maps and directions)

Great ideas Some of those were along the lines of my opinions good job fellow gamer . I'm thankful to have the support of decent people like you:) keep up the good work. Don't hesitate on the constructive criticism I like when people are constructive and not hostile toward my ideas Thanks for your support.

How about a Haunted attraction where dinosaur ghosts pop out and scare guests? Like a Haunted amber mine. That would be real cool.

Most zoos don't have bowling alleys but JWE does so why not Laser Tag etc.

At first I felt iffy about laser tag, but your reasoning is good enough for me to suspend my disbelief. I see many people comparing Jurassic World to a zoo, and it is true that having laser tag in a zoo would be pretty strange. However, I would argue that Jurassic World also has a strong theme park element to it, which means that things like jewelry stores and laser tag would fit in (as many have stated, Disneyland has a jewelry store). It reminds me of John Hammond narrating the intro to JPOG, "This will be the greatest theme park in the history of the world!"

Holy I wish I came up with some of these

Don't forget: Jurassic World isn't like Disney World or any Six Flags park; where there is a large local population and is readily accessible to continental road trips. JW is a remote local that requires considerable expense for tourists to get here and especailly the park system across the 5 Deaths as depicted here is likely a week-long tour, so Main St. diversions like Laser tag or movie theaters are perfectly acceptable. Heck, even Disney World has "Downtown Disney" (which -come to think of it- I believe they've since renamed but I can't rememeber what it is): a huge outdoor mall outside the various "kingdoms" on the greater Disney property in Florida, that sports a huge assortment of stores, restauruants, bars, two movie theaters, Disney Quest, and even a Circe de Soleil.

People go there for dinosaurs though, not laser tag.

Many of these suggestions don't make sense to me.

If I was there I would be be most interested in the dinos, but I might still play some laser tag. Guests spend a while at the parks and they might feel like doing something that would be in a normal resort at some point. Also, the real JW was part luxury resort, part dino zoo.

Actually, they make plenty of sense when you think about it; this isn't just a zoo, it's a theme park. Like Disney World there's going to be many different kinds of rides and attractions and venues to keep people entertained... so yes, there's going to be a heavy emphasis on the dinosaur zoo aspect of it... but then there's other things to do like arcade games and I-Max movies and golf courses, for the same reason Disney's Animal Kingdom has rides in it; to provide a wide variety of entertainment. This is especially vital when you consider that all the guests are isolated on the islands; they can't wander outside the 'World' to find other distractions and if you don't offer variety they'll get bored and loose interest...
