Really dumb question about buying voice attack. Help needed.

Additional dumb question, but one won't get anywhere without asking.

I'm playing with the trial version of VA right now. Is this how an HCS VP works?:

You buy the full version of VA, then you buy an HCS VP, and that VP becomes a selectable option under "profiles" in VA?

This is me without looking on YouTube as of yet.

Trial version gives you limited commands, but to have full access will cost 10 USD. The HCS voicepacks will cost on top of that. I think I paid £14.99 for Vasco.

Must admit, it probably works better if you play with a headset and mic, because I have grief using it with 5.1 surround speakers and a good quality desk mic.

Oh yeah I get the costs, and am well aware. Sorry, I should have been clearer. I meant how does VA find the HCS. However, I know now. Found the video. :)

VA literally changed the game for me! I think you are going to be pretty happy once you get the full version and get it set up with at least a free profile. [up]

I hope so! I'm not going to lie, it's the bloody books that really piqued my interest. One of the main characters in "Reclamation" has a pretty darn high-end ship, and he speaks to the computer a lot to use many functions. Ever since that, I really want it in my own brig. :)
