Yeah right, update it overnight - it has failed with network errors five times now. still only 3/4 done. And NO it isn't my end - I set up a ping test and none dropped since yesterday and no RDP sessions dropped. Line still running at 19.5Mb/s. I'm on a business contract with low contention it is NOT my connection. Either the software is at fault or the server. Just downloaded another DVD worth from MSDN in a few minutes with absolutely no hassles.
