There has been a lot of those, lately.
The game economy issues people are having can be generalized into two categories.
1) "The game activity I enjoy doesn't pay as well as I think I would deserve" = Buff it!
2) "The game mechanic I don't enjoy is paying too well and I feel to be at disadvantage" = Nerf it!
That's it. What I would suggest is to chill the hell out.
If we are unhappy with rewards this or that game activity we should file a bug report and suggest a change in the appropriate forum area. I think at least in this case devs have shown that if a part of the game economy doesn't work as THEY think it should, they will fix it.
But shouting contradictory personal opinions on a general discussion board doesn't help anyone.
What I would like to know, though, and I would encourage someone competent to comment on that (if for nothing else, then for putting our minds at ease) is whether they use some real game telemetry to look into the ways players are earning money and they use it to balance out the extremes, or all the latest hotfixes and disabling particular mission types to rebalance them were only caused by people shouting too lound.
The former would suggest a long term plan, while the latter would show incompetence. Both in thinking the game mechanics through and in PR. So which is it?
