Reasons as why i am the unluckiest CMDR in the galaxy...

Reason 1: I move to a Fumarole spot...circle and then suddenly...POW the zone magically appears in front of me, took nearly a whole blasted minute to spawn!!!!!!!!!

reason 2: I found some very nice materials I needed at this site, but...the planet had to have less than 0.01G. so anything valuable I found suddenly rockets up, up, up and gone forever. mind you, these were only the bits I wanted, all the other **** that I blasted just flopped around in front of me!!!! so much tungsten and yttrium floating in the atmosphere....

reason 3: lots of lovely pictures, go up to the wonderful warm glow of the Fumarole. and just as I flex my finger to snap it somebody flicks the switch and turns it off, not once, but twice.... THANKYOU!

these reasons occurred on the one same planet....just a small portion of my journey. I have MANY other events too, but they are not exploration related...

Now, I need to let out my anger...anyone know of anything killable near Sol I should know about? a nice slaughter-feast in a CZ would be very calming to my nerves....

I feel your pain :) Trust me, I've been there and worse. One of my first galactic circumnavigation attempts ended 5000 LY from home in the unlikeliest mid-air collision that even god could concieve.

Those sound like bugs. report it in the bug report section.

The Order of Enblackenment has combat zones that could the help of angry explorers, if you're willing to travel about 80ly from Sol. Head over to HAT 94-00572 if you're interested.

how did that happen?! I thought there was no one out that far?

I recorded it in my first blog a couple of years ago. I was on my way up the Perseus Arm, checking out a system. I wanted to get a good screenshot from one of the asteroid belts next to the star, so I flew to the nearest one. The instant I dropped out of supercruise my ship, the Magellan, pitched wildly once and...exploded. Your nav system is supposed to drop you out of hyperspace and SC far enough away from any natural object in the system that such a collision is impossible. Thus, the only conclusion I am left with is...there was another player in the system with me, who just happened to be in THAT belt, at the exact point where I decelerated from SC. Meaning...that in a playground the size of...the Milky Way...I had a mid air collision. Sadly, it all happened so fast that I never saw what it was that I hit.
