Rebel Transmissions

Hello All! I recently accepted a mission that wanted to me travel to Ross 142 and gather information from rebel transmissions. However I am still unusre how I am supposed to find these transmissions. Any help would be great!. Thank you in advanced!

Go to the system described in the mission. Then start scanning that system for the objective (USS). It may take a bit of time until you find them.

 

[Macgyver]

Just keep entering the unidentified signals ( random encounters ) that pop up.
Easiest way to do this mission is lower your speed to the slowest speed, keep turning the ship in a slow circle.
Watch your #1 screen until you see an un identified signal pop up, target and lock it.
Back to main screen, find it and press J when in range.

word to the wise, only take these missions from outposts, or you will be scanned trying to dock at stations and fined $8-$15K for carrying rebel transmissions.
