reboot repair doesnt reboot shields anymore ?

so im not taking damage and my ship is stationary, when i did reboot and repair a few times, shields did not come back up, is this a new thing ?

ie, i will either have to wait 10 minutes or head back to a station ?

after some testing, i found, that if you have guardian shield reinforcement package on your ship, when you reboot and repair, your shields do not come back online, which once again basically makes them useless, sigh.

You need to come to a full stop and 4 pips in systems, then it works.

4 pips in systems now necessary?

I've noticed it not working for a couple of weeks now, whereas it always used to work. Don't think I'm moving or being shot at. It did work when testing outside a station though.

I always do it like that when bounty hunting or in a cz. I disengage or kill the last ship on my six, go to a safe distance, full stop, 4 pips to shields, then reboot. Has always worked for me.

Maybe try turning off the Guardian booster, then reboot/repair, and then booster back on?

When this bug was first reported in the bug forums, I thought to myself "I wonder if powering off the booster would be a good work around?" So I tried it. I could NOT power off the booster. I could depower other systems, but not the GSB.

It's possible that it may be tied into the shields, and you may need to depower them first, then depower the booster, and then do the reboot and repair. I haven't tried that yet. I need to test it because it's possible it may not let you power the booster back on once the shields are back. Regardless, there are clearly some bugs with the GSBs, power management, and Reboot and Repair.
