Rebuy improvement suggestion

I recently made the same mistake many rookie traders do. I used most of my cash to buy cargo (full load of Paladium) and promptly crashed into a UI controlled ship while exiting the station. Upon going to rebuy my ship, there were options to remove internal equipment and weapons, but no option to downgrade them.

My ship was a fully equipped Asp with class B thrusters, FSD, etc. I was 50k credits short of being able to replace it after removing all cargo holds. Thankfully I still owned my Cobra Mk III and have worked my way back up to almost being able to afford a Lakon T6. I still miss the Asp.

My suggestion is to allow the option to downgrade equipment so the replacement cost is lower, OR, to give a future repurchase a discounted price. In my example I had the money to afford repurchase within a few hours. I also had ships stashed at various location whose sale would've financed rebuy.

The best would be a pre-paid insurance so that you can't spend the money for the insurance on cargo. Another good thing would be if you could sell your other ships if you don't have enough cash to pay the insurance. And finally the loan could be unlimited. Up to now most people who lost a ship didn't have too big a loss but it can certainly happen that you loose everything you have ever been working for after a few weeks or months. That is same as de-level a level 100 in an RPG down to level 2. Usually the cost of insurance and loss of cargo-cash is enough of a penalty, especially with bigger ships like a T9. That can easily cost you 6mio+ a pop.
