ok i've been a backer of a long time but i just drop in and play now and again to see whats changed. i'm not a full time ED tester so i'm not too clued up on whats happening as we get close to launch. I read that gamma is now being released.
Is this the final build......
will there be another wipe before launch......
from reading the forum, apparently there is some special even happening today, what is it......

can someone clue me in please

and yes, we will see Gamma being released today, i expect it to be either while the party is running, or perhaps a little later.

The unfortunate answer to your question is that what has changed is a lot of bugs have been patched, the UI has been overhauled and...... pretty much nothing about the game play has been changed.

There's nothing more to do than take missions and shoot stuff or haul stuff. There's so far no plot and no way to join any kind of group or faction that gives purpose to MP.

So, the answer is a lot, and not much.
