Recaping a gank

Ah... what's the new meta?

There seem to be some bugs atm, so more science is needed and more time to be sure, but torps on big ships might be making a strong debute.

I've voiced this before, but I believe that overnerfing is a problem in itself, since if you nerf one OP thing so it's unusable, people will just throw it away, and move on to the next OP thing.

And since the previous OP thing, might have been keeping the new OP thing in check, and preventing it from thriving, it's possible to get scenarios where the new meta is simply more broken / ridiculous than the previous one.

Basically we had a fire ant problem, which we battled by creating ice gorillas.

But now we have an ice gorilla problem :D

Clearly what's required are Earth Dragons.

Any of you guys heading to Maia? Looks like we have a war on out there; might be a nice place to look up some of our old friends from the last CG. Speaking of meta builds:)

But after Earth Dragons deal with Ice Gorillas, then we will have Earth Dragon problem :D

And the cycle continues

Unfortunately I am offline until Tuesday. Ping me then if there is good cause to be there and I'll join. I need all the practice I can get, and I prefer to do that in a wing :)

Slightly off topic but did you know that in Biggles day they leaned out of open cockpits in canvas and wire contraptions and fired revolvers at each other.. and now we talk cascading torpedoes and such... but probably many of you have never heard of Biggles either.. ...just saying.. :D

Most likely an Imperial Clipper stacking hull reinforcements with engineered engines to boost at like 550 - 600 m/s .

Can nearly drop a iCutters prismatic shields in 1 hit if you ram at full speed if I remember correctly.

I am aware, but there weren't any Clippers in sight in this encounter :D
