So I was surprised this weekend with a mail that I will get my Oculus Rift "soon", to go with ED:H, my Thrustmaster Warthog and 980 ti soon-to-be stepped up to 1080.
I'm 32, healthy, gamer since childhood, I've never put a VR headset on my head, I've been gaming all my life at 60Hz 1080p or lower, since 2008 on a 40" Samsung TV, I occasionally used a 200€ AOC Ultra-wide screen. I frankly don't even know what 61 fps looks like.
What can I expect in terms of shock? Do I have to invite friends over in case someone needs to call the emergencies?
