I feel that one should live and let live. People are rich, people are poor. People are happy, people are sad. People play games, people do DIY. Means nothing in the scheme of things. All that really matter is - we are getting a successor to our favourite games of all time. And despite the massive odds against, its actually looking quite good as well. Thats is all that matters. I guess it's possible that the writer believed it literally, but then it's a misunderstanding of what p2w means.

Agreed. Trouble is, the talk of hyperbole didn't stop there, it was extended to encompass other complaints which were not, in themselves, hyperbolic (whether or not others agreed with them).

What we most certainly can agree to do is to police ourselves, if we moderate ourselves then a repeat of what has happened in the last few days becomes less likely. I am not naive enough to say it will never happen again but we can at least make nasty, childish and unoriginal a rarer thing on these boards.

Police ourselves, sure; take the law into your own hands, be vigilante... . It does not necessarily mean be a doormat, or an apologist.

We are all here, for Elite, let's be here for each other too and show empathy, understanding and a little patience when applicable with each other.

Ive noticed in the short time I have been here, about 4 months that the forums are getting faster. Growing rapidly.

It was like hours for a new post, now its minutes and seconds.

More people, more posts, more opinions = more disagreements.
