Reckless Discharge Weapons in Haz Res

G'day all,
in HAZ REZ, I accidentaly hit a ship crossing in front of me while I was shooting a wanted ship. immediately I became wanted with a small fine, but, the cost of paying off the bounty regarding my Fed Corvette was horrendous, plus all modules had a bounty placed on them. (is that what is supposed to happen?)

Had to find a broker in some far away system to pay the fine, then wait for my notoriety to wear off, and then had the privileged of paging of the rest. The amount of credits required was STAGGERING to say the least.

Please ED fix this, allow accidental fire to hit another ship for say 5 seconds before you make us wanted.
Its a real downer to have to go thru this rigmar role for an accidental hit.
Cheers
Cmdr D38.

At the moment it seems the threshold for triggering a bounty by accidental fire is way too low for a G5 Multi-Cannon Corvette.

Could you Fdev have a look on it in depht, this is extremely annoying at the moment. As you may know, in a big brawl, accidental hit is unavoidable, so being treated the same way as murder hobo, seems to a bit disruptive on the gameplay.:x

It's not an "accidental" hit, its a "negligent" or "reckless" hit. They even call it "reckless" in game.

Stop playing recklessly and your troubles will go away.

Negligently. Recklessly. Not accidentally.

Even when you specificaly are carefull about these things, once every 10 to 20 hours of bounty hunting some NPC fly at 350m/s litteraly for 0.2s in front of you while you're beaming down a pirate. You can't do anything about it, so to me it's an accident.

But call it as you want, give me a reackless weapon discharge please, not a bounty on my head !
I've never seen a reckless weapon discharge fine... I was happy to see this change in the patch, does it even exists?

I don't know, in spite of cops flying into my line of fire I haven't broken the threshold.
