Recognizing Saitek Cyborg Force Evo Controller Stick on Ubuntu

Hi, I have installed the game on my Ubuntu OS and can launch it via Steam Proton without problem. What I'm wondering is that if I can use a Saitek Cyborg Evo Controller on My Ubuntu System? Is there a way to configure Steam's Proton to recognize my Saitek Controller?

Thanks.

With the device connected, what is the output of lsusb in the terminal?

I haven't bought the device yet, I'm just wondering if it would work, I'll buy according to that.
Thanks.
Okay, my rationale for asking was if the Saitek Cyborg Evo is present in the USB list via lsusb. Ensure xboxdrv joystick and js-test-gtk packages are installed. (Satisfying any relevant dependencies) Then test the device with js-test-gtk. If all is present and correct, steam should pick it up as any other controller present in the system.

The only sure fire way to find out is to try it. The proton page has some troubleshooting tips. Please don't make a purchase based on my recommendation!

Good luck!
