Recommendations on Combat Corvette weapons?

Since we currently don't have the Engineers, that means no new weapons, and no modifiable current weapons, so I'm messing around with different weapon setups on my Corvette until the update hits. Thought of doing some cool stuff like incediary small gattling turrets and the such come Horizons, but for now, I gotta figure out something that'll work well... What do you guy usually fly on your Corvette? Do you skip size 4 PAs, and just use size 3 beams? Do you use turret builds? Railguns? Houndpack carriers? How do you set yours up?

I use twin C4 PAs and just pulses for the rest to minimize heat/capacitor drain. I've also used twin C3 beams and multicannons - this loadout works fine for PVE

I run a pair of C3 beams with a pulse on the belly, the mediums and small hardpoints are multicannons, all are gimballed. This will kill anything for PvE nice and quickly. I don't know much for the PvP load outs. I heard alot of Full pulse builds and some that run the 2x C4 PAs for the huge sudden damage they can cause for Cmdrs that are good shots.

I've seen people running pure pulse laser builds in CZs that seem to work pretty well. I don't have a Corvette yet, though (unfortunately), so I don't have any first hand experience with it.

Like most on here, I binned the purple tennis ball chuckers and went for C3 gimballed beams on the huge, a D3 gimballed pulse on the bottom, 2F gimballed multis on the mediums and 2 small gimballed beams on the smalls. Works fine for PvE.

After that, I binned the Corvette and went back to an Annie...Size 7 shields, better weapon placements, better armour, decent sized modules with more versatile useage... and something that could jump further than an average family house. This is just fitted for haz res on my own... so easy to change it around for cargo space and a big jump range when you get bored... the Corvette is stuck where it is :)

The Corvette and Cutter were designed with season2 in mind.
The inclusion of the new huge weapons finally puts both these ships in there right place.
At the moment they are both compromised by load out restrictions.
