Horizons Recordin gameplay - why it's broken now?

I did record some gameplay for youtube with OBS the other day, It didn't come out too bad. I was using Display capture in OBS settings. But when I tried to record some footage the next day, not changing anything in OBS settings, the recording come out very choppy, like the audio keeps going but the picture is frozen on one frame. Why is that? Am I doing something wrong here? Why one day the rec come out ok, and the next day I had those issues?

Try switching between proper fullscreen and borderless window, maybe try capturing the desktop instead of the game as a source.

What do you mean "proper fullscreen"? I've never played with those options as I didn't need to. So are those within the game itself or within OBS settings? I know "capturing desktop" is in OBS that's for sure. I just want to share with others my gameplay. Do I need to have a capture card for that? Or OBS will do?

Fullscreen or borderless window are in-game options in the graphics settings.

Try to find a combination of in-game and OBS settings that works.
