Recording Rift with Shadowplay?

Hi,

I'm wanting to recorded a little Elite while I play and I'm using Shadowplay for this, I've read a few bad things about it but it doesn't seem to effect performance for me luckily.

The only thing is I'm recording while playing in the Rift and the Elite window on my Tv shows a lower field of view and is also slightly offset to the left, it's not to bad but I was just wondering if I can increase the field of view and/or centre the offset? And if so, how?

Any help with this would be great.

I wasn't personally aware of any offset issue but what I've done in the past re: capturing VR video (I also use Shadowplay) is to ensure I set the ED graphics options display Window properties to be full-screen/same resolution as my screen (if I know I'm going to be recording) to at least capture the best resolution I can (note: it seems not to remember this setting and always reverts to something like an 800x600 window afterwards). Alas far as I know there's nothing you can do about the narrow field of view.

For reference, here's an example of something I've managed to capture in the past.

Edit: having re-watched that I see what you mean about the offset (particularly at the beginining when I'm making my hyperspace jump). Funny, I'd never noticed that before (and now I'll never be able to unsee it). And yeah, the explanation about it being the left-eye view ... yeah, that makes sense.
