Someone has probably already posted about this, but...

I was just chilling out, taking a stroll in VR around one of the dome-farms at Long Sight Base when I noticed this sign on the wall!

The sign reads "Level Nivelo" just like all the signs in Red Dwarf! (Nivelo is Esperanto for Level - part of a running theme of esperanto themed jokes in the series).

Thats amazing. great work! i was wondering whether there was actually red dwarf in the game some where i was hoping it might be a mega ship update.

The shots were taken by going into debug camera whilst right next to a structure, then you can clip through the walls and "walk" around. No VR needed.

People with the Rift and to a lesser degree the Oculus can stand up in their ships and move around the cockpits.

I had an SRV on the roof of the dome, then used the debug camera to position the floor of the walkway to match the floor of my VR room. Then I can walk around a little using room scale VR. Without using the debug you can also do some cool stuff like climb out of your SRV to admire the view, or stroll around the bridge of your ship. Roomscale works in a space up to a 30 foot square... if you have that kind of space.

what amazes me with this, is that you are well away from anywhere a CMDR has any right to be. It's likely that we won't even get to go there when we have space legs, whenever this is going to happen. Yet there are still awesome details present.

Damn. Now I want Beta access so I can join the Megaship Red Dwarf Easter Egg Hunt.
