Horizons Red zone in scanners

Quick question:
Are you supposed to get "red zones" - i.e. "DO NOT ENTER OR YOU DIE" on the scanner/radar when in your SRV.

I ran into a problem on my first SRV outing at Baker Prospect, and could not find my hangar. I inadvertantly stumbled into a tresspass zone (yes I drove onto a landing pad :x) and got myself vaped. Oops.
Dead in 10 minutes, without even leaving the planets surface.

I read somewhere that you are supposed to see "no trespass zones" on your radar. Nothing showed up on mine.

Feedback please?

Tresspassing on a landing pad is quite different to a red zone, you get an audible warning and a timer appears on your screen.
No tresspass zones on the other hand appear as red-lines ( usually in the shape of a square, in my experience ) on your sensor map whilst pootling around planets in your SRV ( I think you can see it on your ship's sensor if you get close enough, open to correction ). These ones will usually spawn some kind of defense.
