I originally had the Takin and Wolverine as part of this pack's previous title the Highlands Animal Pack, and have changed it to Alpine as it seems more like something Frontier would go for. This seems to be a good kind of animal pack as you have 5 altered rigs of existing species for the Markhor, Gelada, Spectacled Bear, Musk Ox and Pallas's Cat, with two new ones in the Golden Pheasant and Rock Hyrax, with the exhibit animal being the Chinese Giant Salamander with possible alternatives being the Veiled Chameleon, Mang Mountain Pit-Viper, and various others.

Since the Eurasia Animal Pack doesn't disregard this idea and still leaving it as a possibility for the future, this would be the ideal pack I would like to see come to the game, adding in several quintessential species from the mountainous regions of Asia, Europe, North America, South America and Africa.

Hmm... I do like this selection, but...
  • I always preferred the idea of Alpine or Highlands being a scenery pack, if only for the possible Ski Lodge theme, with log cabin aesthetics and an authentic gondola ride.
  • The Chinese Salamander may be our only hope for a habitat amphibian... putting it in a box is meh...
  • Do these really all count as alpine animals? The Musk Ox in particular always struck me as a tundra plain animal...
Maybe a pack for next December?

Well Musk Ox are known to live in alpine regions across their range, including the one that I used as the background for this concept. So they would be able to be included here, and I couldn't think of any other substantial pack where we could get it alongside many other requested species aside from this. The Chinese Giant Salamander could work as an exhibit animal that, if Frontier added this feature, that could be transferred between exhibits and habitats, maybe even adding different sized exhibits and having one specifically designed for housing giant salamanders, just taking different forms and shapes, making it more modular. The Ski Lodge thing is something we can currently recreate with existing pieces, you just need to know which ones

There is literally no point to the first half of this concept... they'd essentially be creating two versions of one animal, meaning one less unique animal that could fit into either spot. And the whole idea of modular or specialized exhibits seem incredibly dubious at this point... they'd likely have to remake all previous exhibit animals and they barely use the exhibit systems we already have.

fair enough. I mean at least giving it a dedicated exhibit that is of a suitable size, as I don't think it should be a habitat animal given how often they are displayed in exhibit tanks. A larger exhibit specifically designed for them would be good to compliment their size.

Can honestly a pack next winter like:
  • Markhor (mascot)
  • Alpine marmot
  • Himalayan monal
  • Pallas’ cat
  • Southern corroboree frog (exhibit)
With Rainforest/Amazon, Americas Animal and Safari Animal in Spring, Summer and Autumn respectively

I sign your pack. Even when I am the opinion that the Musk Ox is No alpine animal. I would Not mind if it comes to this Pack nevertheless. Nothing to exchange from my Personal preference.

Well Musk Ox do inhabit alpine tundras so I guess can count them, similar habitat to Markhor and Pallas's Cats just in Europe and North America

I would switch the Pallas cat for something else, but that is just my dislike for them, otherwise a perfect pack. Would buy it either way.
