RedPandaReggie's Cenozoic Expansion Idea

This expansion would be focused around the Cenozoic era, the time of the mammals, though more than just mammals ruled and still rule this era of Earth's history. This DLC's campaign would involve helping Claire Dearing, Owen Grady, the advisory Ian Malcolm, Ramsay Cole and the rebirth of Biosyn to set up sanctuaries away from the dinosaurs to continue genetic research into more than just dinosaurs. Utilising the landscapes of the Ural Mountains of Russia, and the sweeping grasslands of the Chilean Patagonian plains, playing to the advantage of sustaining some of the planet's more recent extinct species. Reviving prehistoric mammals is a bit easier in comparison to the revival of 66 million year old dinosaurs, pterosaurs and marine reptiles. With the assistance from this Jurassic World's reptilian residents, build a home to sustain the growing population of dinosaurs and prehistoric mammals, to bring worlds together and give them the space they need to thrive. The resurrection of the magnificent creatures of the Eocene, Miocene, Pleistocene and Holocene, from the ferocious Smilodon, to the mighty Mammuthus, terrifying Titanis, the massive Megatherium and various other species to fill a once primal world.

(Note. With the lack of new dinosaur variants and skins, it would be much easier to add more species, to around a similar proportion to the Planet Zoo animal packs with 8 species)

  • New Live Prey Feeders - Live Shark Feeder; Live Deer Feeder; Live Cow Feeder; Cow Crane Feeder; Live Pig Feeder (barrier dispenser, placed on the fence and the big runs out); Chicken Feeder
  • Stalking - This behaviour would be utilised by predatory species where they would creep on their prey through slow movements, especially utilised by the Smilodon and Titanis, as well as of course all the predatory dinosaurs
  • Aviary Creature Walking and Running Animations - With Argentavis being a bird, walking and ground movement is one thing this animal would have been able to do, and the pterosaurs should be given the ability to walk on the ground with the dinosaurs and other land species, especially the colossal Quetzalcoatlus

That is all I have currently for this DLC, but I think this could be a pretty cool DLC to introduce the third and final major prehistoric era to the game.

Right animal in wrong DLC.
What DLC should it be in, if we don't end up getting Mantah Corp, then Cenozoic is the better option

Mantah Corp Expansion.
and if we get Smilodon in a Cenozoic DLC instead, how many possible Mantah Corp new species are we left with, two. Nothing is a should or has to be with the DLCs, the team chooses whatever animals they like to put in the DLCs. If we were to get Smilodon in a Cenozoic Expansion, then it is a very marketable animal to have in that, and if we were to get two variants, that would be awesome, a Camp Cretaceous variant, and a Frontier-original variant

It doesn't matter how many new species we get in a new DLC! Consider the Mantah Corp Expansion to be like the Return to Jurassic Park DLC from the first one; that had only 2 new species.

And if it comes down to one with Tarbosaurus which to be frank isn’t a mantah corp dinosaur anyway being added in a different pack. Would one new species, multiple variants and skins be enough to satisfy the creature department of an expansion dlc. Honestly it would make the idea of a Camp Cretaceous Cosmetic Pack more desirable to give us those missing skins and variants

Nice idea, it should definetly be added.

List of Expansions:
