Reduce downtime between conflicts on foot

There is a downtime of about 10-15 min between the end of an on foot conflict and the start of the next if you do it the intended way. i.e. Take dropship back to star base and back again.
- Immersion OK, but game play not so great.

Suggest reducing this wait time somehow.
- Allow player to stay on the surface installation to wait for the next conflict. Perhaps talk to a NPC to reset "instance".

Alternative of relogging works but sub-par.

It was already suggested to provide options:
  • to fly directly to another conflict zone (possibly nearest one, or nearest with same level etc)
  • allow to redirect dropship to another outpost, station or settlement within same star system
  • reactivate settlement (or perform some other action), which will trigger a timer to another conflict (a bunch of dropships from the enemy faction)

I would also like it to not teleport me to the dropship, but rather add an option to call a dropship (instead of Apex, while being within combat zone settlements perimeter). If it would be an option to call a single dropship (instead of Vulture) for all wingmates it was even nicer.

Maybe a option would be to make a conflict zone as a multi stage version.

Thre conflict zones per planet. You ride down the first one, drop off from the dropship, do you job, get the next dropship, fly over to the next two conflict zones.
After the last conflict zone is over, you could get a bonus for completing all three or you could decide to start over.

Using this szenario, you can do the conflict zones over and over without the need to leave the planet or fly back to the station but also have the immersion by not beaming back to a station or another conflict zone on that planet.

You can come in your own ship.
Finish the CZ, recall ship, supercruise out, instantly drop off supercruise, retarget the settlement and land and rejoin combat.

It takes less than going back to the station and it's no less intended than the OP method.

Right, actually you don't even need to leave the settlement or use a ship at all. You can simply relog after the CZ is finished. It will reset and respawn you in there.

That too, but i didnt mentioned since the OP cares about immursion 😇

In terms of immersion - both approaches seem to be quite bad 😜 Unless you fly to another settlement combat zone, but probably no one does it.

There should be something to mask the cooldown for the combat zone to be reset - some sort of combat related objectives to complete. Something like looking for hidden war-time documents, settlement plans etc, which would require to unlock the place and simultaneously loot for materials for upgrades. Maybe traveling few kilometers from the settlement to the hidden cache (as reason for leaving the instance). Which would potentially give bigger reward that plain fighting in the combat zone. Not sure though if that is possible to do considering instancing problems, but it would be less looking like grind.
