Hello Frontier!

The current CG is a perfect example of why CGs needs to be reworked a bit.

Currently, Trade / Mining CGs are counting tons delivered, rather than credits delivered which I find a bit unfair. For example, in the current CG, Gold is counted as much as Platinum; Gold can be purchased while Platinum requires Mining, and Mining takes a whole lot more time.

If the CG only asks for ONE specific commodity, mined or not, then tonnes collected works fine... but in the current CG there are 4 different Commodities, of which just one; Platinum, requires mining.

Instead of the Tonnes collected, I would argue that Trade / Mining CGs should take a similar approach as Bounty Hunting.

In Bounty Hunting CGs, it is not counting the ships you kill; it is counting the credits you earn; bigger ships gives more bounty. In a Trading CG / Mining CG, such as this, Platinum is the hardest one to get hold of, and should also yeld a bigger impact when delivered. It does that in the form of credits earned when selling, but it does not count higher for the CG itself, which it should.

It would make sense that Trading and Mining CGs should have the same logic as BH applied to it.

Just a thought.

EDIT: The CG I am talking about is the one named: Building a Vision and you can deliver Bauxite, Coltan, Gold and Platinum to Carpini Terminal in the Qa'wakana system.
