Refit completed, the Ghost bid's y'all adios

I've doubled checked the hold and have enough beer and cigars and over in the synthesis locker 149 injections of grade three Jumponium are waiting for the call to duty.

New paint, decent beer, darn fine cigars, and 65,000 lys to enjoy on the way to the our plot on the rim. First planned stop is a WW about 10k ly out that I found back in April 3304. It has a 0.85 orbital eccentricity and the Ghost and I found it before mapping, so mapping it is. We'll send a postcard before turning for Viatori Patuit area. I just hope all that Jumponium is enough.

Laterz folks! Look for that postcard from the WW. I want to try to catch it as it boils on it's swing around it's sun. Cheers, fly far, be safe, and have some fun!

Update Oct 18, 2019

I've reached waypoint #1 and got the mapping job done on that WW with the wild orbital eccentricity of 0.83. To my surprise my math worked out in trying to determine when she would be at perigee since I found her about 18 months ago (nobody was more surprised than me about the math, not even my checkbook ;).

483 kelvin oceans would make the most hardy of lobsters tender.

Off to waypoint #2 and between here and there I hope to be able to update this post with a shot of the Ghost and me parked on a nice beach in Raxxla :)

Closest approach of the planet to the star would be 0.0136 AU, yikes! (aphelion is 0.146 AU). That planet's going to have some crazy weather...
