Refreshing My Computer: How Can I Copy My saved Parks and blueprints to an external hard Drive.

I am refreshing my computer to it's factory settings which means I'll have to re-install everything.

Do I even need to copy all of my saved parks and blueprints to an external hard drive? If so, how do I do this? I don't want to loose nearly 250 hours worth of work.

Is it possible for me to actually save all of my steam games and their associated files on a hard drive and then put it all back on the computer without needing to re-install? I really need some help because I have no idea what to do. The games don't have any issues, it's other things on my system, but I'll need to wipe the entire computer. I'm just trying to figure out if I can save all of my steam games on a hard drive, and simply put them back on the newly refreshed system. If I can't do that, then I'll try to save the parks and blueprints I have, but again, how do I do this?

Theres a few different ways to do this, Steam has a cloud service feature to backup all saves to the cloud, and access them from any computer. Though I am not certain on all the details for Steam Cloud, sorry maybe somebody else can be more detailed.

Under windows, all your park saves should be located in the folder "C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Planet Coaster\Blueprints (and) \Parks" unless you moved your steam into a different folder besides Program Files

Hope that helps :)

It's not there, but I did find it. It's under:
C:\Users\%userprofile%\Saved Games\Frontier Developments\Planet Coaster

Also, I decided to wait on refreshing and reinstalling everything. I'd rather just get a newer better computer first, and refresh this one to have as another machine for editing and things like that.

i just got a new computer and once i re-installed 'steam', and then planet coaster..... and i launched PC..... their they were. i dont know how. i remember seeing the work 'streaming' twice now and i can not believe that i am 'streaming' PC instead of running it off my own hard drive. i thought 'steam' just verified me via the internet for a second after booting up and then that was it.

you can do what i did and just 'upload' your most important parks to steam, and then download onto your new computer. (if your buying one for this game go super strong)
