Refuge passenger target port shoots at me

Hi,

the refugee mission target port is high security and not listed in contacts once I am close. Flying at the mission targer port results in me getting shot and becoming wanted.

Can someone tell me how to complete a passenger mission that has a target port as such?

Yes. I picked up refugees from Ezra Station inside the Wellington system. Most refugee transport missions state "Silverridge Progress+" inside the Yuanjia system as the transport target. But that is a small militray settlement that I cannot find on the contact tab to request docking permission and approaching the station will result in the settlement opening fire and me becoming a wanted criminal.
So how am I supposed to deliver the refugees?

Look at your sensors, I'll bet they are switched off or broken.

Fix that, see them on contacts and request docking as per normal.

Then you won't get shot at.

In fact, scratch that, I'm wrong, see below...

That's either impossible, or a bug (because Silverridge Progress+ is an installation without landing pads).
As far as I remember while doing rescue missions you transport refugees to nearest Rescue Ship. It should be close to the burning station.

Does anyone have an idea how to deliver the refugees? Or did those clever s manage to scam me by an impossible mission?

The passengers need to go the the rescue station 5 ls from the burning station. In this case Rescue Ship - Ezra Point. it may indeed be the case that the missions are not valid anymore. Due to the system changing state.

ida has already started repairs on Ezra station. So the rescue missions are gone. https://discord.gg/JNYHKNbS This one repair needs about 260k ton of various goods.

As all stations are cleared from Thargoids today the repair state triggered for all of them. So no more burning stations means no more rescues.

I don’t recall reading a destination on a refugee mission from a burning station, I just took them to the rescue ship just outside the station.

If @GroG79 is right you are really unlucky to have the state change and the destination disappear with only a 40 second flight to get out of the station and arrive at the rescue ship.

Your best options now are to abandon the mission either at a station if the passengers haven’t been annoying or deep space if they have or raise a ticket with support as the destination is invalid for this type of gameplay.

That's a bug - add it to the issue tracker and don't bother taking any more like it (why you did for 50k and minimal rep in the first place is another matter ;) )

The rescue ship was there last night, but the station is now repaired, so the rescue ship has gone. Any missions left over from yesterday can't be completeed.

OP, when did you take the mission?
