Refunds? What?

So, I was running a park with guest happiness in the high 90's and I am having trouble with something so I decided to close my park.
Everyone started exiting the park as expected, but I went from $70,000 to -$10,000+ swiftly, and I looked at the thoughts of the guests exiting and EVERYONE was getting refunds! They all had thoughts like "This park was so bad I'm getting a refund" or something similar. Every guest exiting was taking a refund. WHAT?

People do not get refunds just because they don't have a good time. That's not how this works! LOL

This should be at least a toggle in the game settings. Now I can't play my game because I don't have any money and all this because I was trying to fix a problem in my park in the first place.

IOt really should be a ticky box. They don't like it, too bad. Don't come to a goth opark or a D&D park if you aren't into those things.

My local park won’t give refunds for any reason even rain. They expect people to pay attention to the weather forecast before deciding to go to the park. It has been a paid admission park since 1980, now everyone is forced to pay even if they aren’t riding any rides. I noticed that the crowd is mostly younger people and teenagers, families with children and more non white people. Hardly any older people like seniors go to the park anymore. Of course, the park is within driving distance from NJ, NY, and Philly. It has been corporate owned since 1992, it used to be family owned.

Not sure how much this helps, but you can open your game in the Scenario Editor, fix what you wanted to, set the starting money, then save and play. Your further achievements in it won't count if you're playing Career, but aside from that . . .
