Regional Lock?

Hello, some Question: I want to buy my Sister Planet Zoo as a Birthday present. She has no Steam Account and lifes at the moment in LATAM - if i buy here a key, can she activate and play it, or is the game regional locked?

Thank you, best regards from Germany

Hi there. If you purchase the game for them directly via Steam then you shouldn't need to worry about regions. Your sister will need to create a Steam account and download Steam to play.

As I have seen, there are massive price differences depending on the country. So I ask myself why it costs 14.51 euros in Brazil and 35.99 euros in the European Union. That is a price difference of 59.68 percent for the same product. The income in this country is of course lower than in an EU country, but the price difference of almost 60 percent is really big.
It is precisely this extreme difference that brings people to Ebay instead of the steam shop or better the shop of the developer himself. I like to support the developers but I still find it somewhat unfair - we must also work hard for our money.

Guess what: The developers too. 36 € in my part of germany is maybe two times a visit in the cinema, which equals to maybe four hours of fun. I can promise, you will have more hoursof fun with Planet Zoo.

Buying on ebay is on your own risk. Don't whine when the key is already taken or doesn't function.

Isn't Steam a 3rd party seller, though obviously a very reputable one?
Steam is indeed a 3rd party seller, but also obviously excluded from the 3rd party sellers that Paul is referring to, as Steam is the main seller of Planet Zoo.

Planet Zoo is also available directly from the Frontier Store here.
