they're part's of the galaxy David mentioned for further expansion I have no clue what they intend to do or is there..........
there are quite a few systems dotted around that require permits that are 1000's of lys away from currently inhabited space
The biggest one for me was Polaris the description once read it was a scientific outpost used for deep space surveys way back in early Beta.... but now if you click on it it just says no description, although it still requires a permit
which makes me think they accidently put something they had planned for the future in by mistake

From what I recall Polaris used to be Thargoid related in the previous games...

That's it I'm calling it.

Thargoids are actually from the magellanic clusters, we were just sent a scout force in the past. Regor is in direct line of sight from human space with the LMC and SMC areas and that is the area of space that sounds creepy when you point at it.... so I'm calling for Thargoid space or worse staging area.

It's something creepy out there, but it's not the Thargoids that has blocked the systems from our nav. computers. No permit without some kind of human activity. INRA is monitoring the area.
