They are part of the Arctic pack.
I hope, there will be at least two other Animals if we need to pay for it. Good to know the Price already. Where was it mentioned that it is a Expansion that costs Money? Was there also mentioned if it will be downloadable at the same Day as the Update?

Yep, I was also a bit suprised. They made it look like a surprise, which everybody was getting. Don't understand me wrong, a paid dlc is also a surprise. But in order with the christmas spirit I think a free animal would have been cool. And imho it would have been a good move pr-wise for Frontier to account for the many bugs the game has.

It most definitely is. As in, 'Surprise! Give us more money for a game that isn't even fully functional yet!' I'm new to Frontier-developed games, but I heard a lot of old-timers talking about how much of the DLC for JWE and PlanCo were free in the beginning. The game still feels like Beta, so I'm really not happy they want us to fork out $10 for only four animals. It's a very poor PR move.I think maybe the DLC isn't the mentioned Surprise
Google images of boreal caribou and mountain reindeer...1st two are photographs from google images of 1. boreal woodland caribou and 2. mountain reindeer (also known as Norwegian Reindeer, mentioned previously in thread), 3rd is the PZ image from their twitter feed. Sure look similar to #1 or #2 to me. With a career scenerio set in Sweden also being added, my money is on the Mountain reindeer.
