Reindeer Region Change

Was looking through the roster of animals and noticed that the Reindeer is described to live in Russia, Norway, USA, Canada, Finland and strange enough Denmark.
Reindeer do not live in Denmark and Sweden is strangely enough not included despite the Sami having reindeers for ages.
There are around 220,000 to 280,000 reindeers in Sweden.
Just thought this had to be mentioned.

They live in Greenland which is a part of Denmark, but yeah omitting Sweden is odd
But Greenland is recognized as it own area in the Zoopedia, as it is mentioned among the other countries. So it still doesn't make sense to include Denmark because of that.

Anyway you wouldn't consider Greenland's wildlife as Danish wildlife. I'm Danish myself, no one here would consider a polar bear or muskox as an animal native to the country.

If Australia was still considered a British colony, it wouldn't mean you would see koalas as native to the British isles.

Well in that analogy they'd still be native to the country as a whole, but you're right if they mention both Greenland and Denmark it doesn't make much sense

Well Greenland isn't a part of the country of Denmark itself but part of the Danish realm. There is a difference.
