Relative Mouse Axis toggle

It would be nice for the keyboard/mouse players to have an in game toggle for relative mouse axis. I say this because it is the best way to fly in FA off, but awful in FA on and supercruise. Even if it just turned on when you flipped flight assist off, and back on when jumping to supercruise or FA on would be useful.

Right now, I get around this by using an xbox controller for SC and FA on, kind of a convoluted setup just to use FA off for more than quick turns.

Thanks for your consideration!

Can you explain what relative mouse axis is?

Sure, it's a setting in the keybinds that will basically reset your mouse in flight to center after a short period. By default, if you move your mouse all the way to the left, it continues that left input until you drag the mouse back the center, which works great when you need to hold input for turning like you do in supercruise. In FA off, this results in too much input and more difficult counter correction, as you're correcting the ship and your mouse location.

I guess think of it like an elastic band constantly trying to pull the mouse widget back to the middle.

Aha now I know what you're talking about. I've always played with that on, but I don't use a mouse anymore so I don't remember how difficult it was to deal with.

They have a separate control scheme for docking - surely they can add one for FA off.
