Released is an ambiguos term - Elite and Star Citizen

I often read and hear the laughs regarding 'when Star Citizen is released (bwahahahaha), like that's ever gonna happen...'

But I bought SC and I can play it. And it has it's own set of fans who have purchased multiple ships and think it's fantastic. And it hasn't even been 'released' yet. It has game content that is broken, doesn't work that great, has no depth (requires your imagination to play). And people are playing the heck out of it.

Then there's Elite Dangerous. I can play it too. It released three years ago, has a great fan base that think it's fantastic. ED has broken mechanics, content that isn't that fun, is shallow (i.e. requires your imagination). And people are playing the heck out of it.

I need to spend more time on SC forums and see if people consider 'imagination required' to be a virtue for Star Citizen the way it is on the ED forum. And if imagination is something that we need to bring to Star Citizen then I might as well just consider SC as 'released' right now. :)

'Released' is an ambiguous term.

(spelled ambiguous wrong in the title)
