so my biggest issue with the game is actually one of my favourite parts.
releasing to the wild.
i love that this is an option that provides benefits to your zoo.
however i find it too unrealistic in that you can raise an infant animal purely on tray fed food and instantly release them when they mature, that animal will have very little chance of surviving in the wild.
i understand that this will be an incredibly difficult or large task to undertake making changes to
but i think its important for education purposes that these should be considered,
my idea for this is for there to be some way to choose to assess an animals capability to be released (that would take into consideration how much interaction with enrichment items they had or if they were raised in a suitable environment) and if they meet the quota for that animal they can be released for an increased amount of CC, but if they fail the assessment the zoo owner can choose whether to keep the animal for their own breeding program or trade them for a reduced amount of cc into the breeding program (would be in the same location that release to wild normally would be) i think that animals should be able to be re-assessed at a later date after giving the zoo chance to improve their 'rehabilitation' (enrichment and environment)
as i said, i know this would be a LOT of work to implement but something should be considered to address this issue
i love the education and research that has been put into the game but i do feel like this one thing is a big oversight as it does suggest that you can raise an animal, chuck it into the wild, and everything will be great
(this is coming from an educated viewpoint, having qualifications in animal care and land management, as well as having attended university for environmental conservation (unfinished due to mental health))
i know my suggestion itself isn't super realistic, but i was trying to suggest something that could be slotted into the current system so they didn't have to completely re-haul everything
