Kind of have to agree with the annoyed people here. These features (combat boarding, planetary landing) were promised features when the game was in development. Right now the game is very pretty and fun for a few hours, but it does feel empty. By all means, take your time and get it right, but paying for what should have been there in the first place (particularly given how much they want for paint schemes and the like) strikes a sour chord with me.
I might buy the expansions (that's also worrying, that features are considered expansions and will probably sell at typical expansion price points) if they come out before Star Citizen (which as I understand will release with those features), but if they don't, I may just chalk the purchase of Elite
angerous up as money wasted and lesson learned.
Wouldn't it be better to create a quality (complete) game (or at least deliver promised content without charge) and build a name for your game through positive reviews and word of mouth, then rely on micro transactions to continue funding it (reasonably priced micro transactions, I'd pay $3 for a paint job that applied to all my ships, but not for one ship that I'll probably end up replacing as soon as possible)?
Reason why i copy and paste is because everything he or she has stated here is also my opinion. by all means i'm not trying to say that "My Opinion is the greatest and should be everyones opinion aswell" what i'm trying to say is that what has been said here is probably also other ED players opinion aswell.
