Remember Weak Signal Sources?

I think it should be a range thing. So if you get within say 20ls of a USS you get to see the type of signal, but the threat level still requires a scan.
currently, unless I'm specifically looking for them I completely ignore USS. It also doesn't help that if you have any missions, as soon as you drop into a signal source every mission NPC in the sector suddenly appears, even though they weren't in SC beforehand.

Those were good but I miss so much those lovely Luxuries Traders (T9's) waiting for you to buy what those silly stations never wanted. 
My network connection is not good enough to upload videos to You Tube but I have a couple of videos and a funny one of 2 bugged Luxuries T9's with a massive explosion at the end. (I was in a T6 at that time making my way up to buy an Asp!)
