Reminder that Diamondback Scout has the wrong cockpit

I haven't been in mine in this update, do you mean the DBS internal window structure is painted yellow? That's the only difference I think.

You posted a bug report about it so they will be, once they go through their backlog.
QA will post in your bug report to acknowledge it once they get to it.

What more information do you need? The DBS has the DBE's cockpit. Completely switched wholesale, except the DBS has retained its blue lights and panels. Everything else is DBE.

The DBE's yellow panels and screens are switched to blue, except the light emanating from them has remained yellow. So the DBE has blue screens with yellow lighting surrounding it. It's a mess.

Completely switched. Yellow interior, exposed wires and hoses now covered with panels, everything. Only the blue panels and screens have been retained, everything else is the DBE cockpit.

But aren't the Diamondback Explorer and the Diamondback Scout sister ships, i.e. variants of a basic design? I would be more surprised if they had different cockpits, having the same cockpit actually makes a hell of a lot of sense!

The issue is that they used to have different cockpits, and now the DBS has the DBE cockpit. Which is, you know, like a bug.

Fair enough then I have only flown the FBE so had no comparison. Although I will stick to my opinion that it actually makes more sense for DBE and DBS to share the same cockpit configuration. But if it is a bug I am sure FD will eventually get around to fixing it, honestly can't see why some are getting their knickers in a twist, it doesn't change gameplay and is purely cosmetic.

Pointing out bugs is upsetting to you? And the primary source of income for this game relies completely on cosmetics.

And I've been playing this game for years and have been hit by virtually almost every bug possible. Fixing bugs is the exception for FD.

I just fly the DBX so I'm fine with this.

You haven't noticed that the yellow screens and panels are now blue? And that they are emitting yellow light? It should be right at the top of your screen... just taunting you with its bugginess.

Also, this bug wasn't introduced with the new 3.3 update. It's been around for at least a few months prior.

It can be super annoying when someone rolls in all clueless and dismissive with "they're sister ships therefore the cockpits should be identical therefore the bug isn't a bug and is in fact an improvement and hey why is everyone getting so worked up all of the sudden also you're all crazy and everything you care about is made up and unimportant."

People are getting their knickers in a twist because of you. The bug should be fixed and eventually it will be fixed but it would get fixed faster and with less conflict if there wasn't always, without fail, EVERY TIME, some rando dropping their completely made up off-the-cuff dismissal of every issue anyone brings up. It's exhausting and annoying and it ensures that the default mode of communication is always adversarial.

Okay Sir/Expert of All Things - yes I did dismiss the OP's concerns, because which would you rather FD fix, a purely cosmetic bug or one that is effecting gameplay? The OP is fixated on this issue, one that not only myself but others didn't even know existed.

The only one being adversarial is you - and you alone!

People seeming to not know about this issue is the reason why I made this thread. This affects my favorite ship and it's what I'm looking at 100% of the time when I'm playing this game. And as far as I know, the fix is super simple and if FD gets around to fixing it faster because I'm bringing it up, then great. And people need to stop acting like FD is working around the clock to fix bugs that have been around for years and the only thing stopping them from fixing all those bugs is having to work on things that people like you deem unnecessary.

Also, thanks for helping to bump this thread, the last one died super quick. And just so you can prepare yourself in advance, I'm warning you right now that I plan on making a new thread about this every week or so.

One can only hope that Frontier share your belief that a bug you already submitted is worthy of spamming the non-bug forum too.

Can't find a screenshot to prove it, but I remember that look of the exposed wiring and thinking "What am I doing out here in this?"

Doesn't the DBX have lower level, ground viewing windows much like the T6? My DBS is 5k Kyrs away but last time I looked it did not have lower windows.
The rest of it was very similar.
